When we asked men what one word best describes this sun protective dynamo, we heard everything from “youthful” to “hip”. After much discussion, we pared it down to “our most versatile and adventure-ready full zip jacket ever.” (Admittedly, not quite one word.) Lightweight with loads of secure stash areas—two zippered hand pockets and one zippered left chest pocket—it has a stand-up collar, gentle (no pinch) elastic cuffs, airy ventilated back yoke, underarm mesh and an adjustable interior drawstring closure at the hip. A great addition to the golf bag or a gym bag.

This jacket is perfect for those of us who are long torso'd, other jackets tend to hike up when running in them, this one doesn't. Especially like the left breast pocket to stash my cell phone conveniently.

Great versatile jacket for men
My husband wore this on a trip to San Diego. He really appreciated having a light weight jacket to throw on at the water park and the beach when the sun was beating down on us. He normally wears an XL in t-shirts, but this one worked well in a L.

PERFECT! and even teen son loves it!
Finally! A stylish sunjacket! I am a melanoma patient and in constant quest for a good lightweight throw on jacket and often times the material can be too sheer which means sticky. This is a lightweight cotton, highly breathable and oh so comf! I was searching for a coat my teen son would wear and bought the graphite and stone; he loved the graphite and has been in it nonstop since (wears it outside in general and during gym to stay sunsafe and says it's comf for both); the stone he didn't care for (very light, like an ivory) so I swiped it for me! It def can be unisex. This is the perfect about town lightweight jacket plus I use it for daily walks. Light as a breeze but stylish too! Love it so much ordering the khaki as well (we'll prob fight over that one!), wish it came in white would order that too! we are both size 2x and the xxl is fine, other solumbra stuff can run small so was pleased this was not the case here. all in all perfect jacket!

How to Measure

Most Solumbra clothing is oversized.
It is designed with generous proportions to give you freedom to move around. There's no need to order larger sizes. Exceptions are noted in product copy.
Inseam:
Measurement from inside crotch seam to bottom of hem.
Unisex Tall Sizing:
Unisex tall shirts are sized for customers over 6'4" and have sleeve length measurements from center back of M 36"; L 381/2"; XL and 2XL 391/2".
Women's Tall Sizing:
Women's tall pants have a 34" inseam.
Women's Petite Sizing:
Petite garments are sized for customers up to 5'3".
Hats:
Measure around your head with measuring tape above your eyebrows and ears.
Gloves:
Measure around hand across the knuckles (exclude thumb). The number of inches determines glove size. If you are right-handed, measure your right hand and vice versa. People with extra long fingers, or who would like a looser fit should consider ordering a size up.
Shade Sleeves:
Sizing for this garment is based on your Solumbra shirt size.
