Beautiful and Versatile
Love this shirt and that it is oversized. Versatile in that it can be used as a large top, coverup and as a casual topper. The material is excellent. Glad to see an oversized item for gals that don't always want everything fitted all the time. This works really great over fitted stuff too. Hope to see more items like this, long and oversized. Color options and patterns are nice and I look forward to even more.

Perfect for Florida
I am glad that I ordered this shirt. I did order a size down because of the other reviews and was a little worried but I, but it worked out. The shirt still has room and the sleeves were long enough... I love the light weight and it doesn't have an artificial fabric feel that so many of the other type of sun protective clothing out there has.... I think I will get a lot of use out of this shirt!! I bought the raspberry and I love the color pink

Awesome shirt
I now own five of these and I have to say that it seems like this year's finally have a longer sleeve length! (I'm 5'7" with broad shoulders and long arms). Previous ones I've ordered were too short in the sleeves - not a big deal since I tend to always roll them up, but still rather silly for a sun-protective garment. Yes, it's a "big" shirt, so order down a size if you don't want it super baggy. That's what I do and I find it nice and roomy and comfortable to wear another shirt beneath if needed. Since most ladies' blouses "gape" open on me I really like the fit of these. I love the long length - great with leggings or capris in summer and though I don't use it as one, it would be great as a beach cover up.

I received my order today, and with all the reviews...everything fits, so thanks!! Cover up is nice, kind of prefer the light mint looking one, however I ordered turquoise and it is bright and nice. It will pair nicely with the white active pants I ordered in PS, and they fall perfectly.

Definitely order one size down
I usually wear 12/14 so I ordered a Med. It was HUGE. Hoping the small is better. Disappointed I have to pay for postage to exchange.

Great shirt!
Just received this shirt in the mist color which is a light mint green. Beautiful. I am a consistent size 14 at 5'7" and 165 Lbs. Reading the reviews I decided to order the size Small. The fit is ample but not huge. Perfect for gardening and outdoor activities. It is very well made and the material is light, but not see through. Order at least one size down.

I'm glad I read Down The Shore's review before I ordered. I normally wear an XL top (14-16), so I ordered a Medium, based on reviews. It's quite large all around (though not oversized in length). Soft fabric, pretty color (I ordered turquoise, which I believe is the color in their picture of the shirt; they don't state.) I'm tempted to order another since it feels good & is attractive, but I think I'll go with a small next time. (I don't think I've EVER worn a small in anything!) In my same first order, I ordered the sleeveless stretch top in a large (the largest that they offer) and it was too small. The sizing of their clothing is very inconsistent.

GREAT shirt for just about everything!
Ordered my first shirt a year or so ago in white. Am usually a size 8-10 w/large bust, but took review advice & got the Small. It's a perfect fit & still oversized! Use it daily for dog-walking in the hot stifling sun. It's perfect to wear by itself - & even without a bra when it's miserably hot - because the fabric is NOT thin, has a pocket & is again, BIG! Arm vents also keep me cool. It's long enough to be a swimsuit coverup & is a staple for vacations. It's had a lot of use & was beginning to discolor a bit due to use w/sunscreen. Just bought another white one for other times than dog-walking. When the first one totally wears out, will make it my painting & glass fusing shirt. Expensive but not really, considering the sun protection it offers!

Beautiful, but HUGE
This top has great styling, and the color, Mist, is a lovely mint green. Be advised, that the sizing is incredibly generous. I normally wear a misses XL top,or size 14-16, so I ordered a size M, based on the reviews that the top was very generous. When I received it, I was disappointed by the enormity of the size M. Conservatively estimating it as a women's XXL may be underestimating it. I'm going to re-order a size S and hope for the best.

Great shirt!
This was my first time buying these shirts and I am very happy with both shirts in bought however.... I am tall with longer than average arms & legs. Neither shirt has arms long enough for me, they need to be about 3 inches longer to come to my wrist. Other than that the shirts are great.

How to Measure

Most Solumbra clothing is oversized.
It is designed with generous proportions to give you freedom to move around. There's no need to order larger sizes. Exceptions are noted in product copy.
Inseam:
Measurement from inside crotch seam to bottom of hem.
Unisex Tall Sizing:
Unisex tall shirts are sized for customers over 6'4" and have sleeve length measurements from center back of M 36"; L 381/2"; XL and 2XL 391/2".
Women's Tall Sizing:
Women's tall pants have a 34" inseam.
Women's Petite Sizing:
Petite garments are sized for customers up to 5'3".
Hats:
Measure around your head with measuring tape above your eyebrows and ears.
Gloves:
Measure around hand across the knuckles (exclude thumb). The number of inches determines glove size. If you are right-handed, measure your right hand and vice versa. People with extra long fingers, or who would like a looser fit should consider ordering a size up.
Shade Sleeves:
Sizing for this garment is based on your Solumbra shirt size.
