Tennis anyone?
I play tennis every day in July and August... outside in the sun and heat. My friends as me how I can play in long sleeves. My answer is I'm no hotter than they are playing in tank tops and I don't have to reapply sunscreen. My mother had melanoma and my dr. says that I have a much higher risk of getting it. These shirts are way more expensive that my usual clothing but they wash well, wear like iron and easily last many years so they are worth the money.

perfect top for hot weather
This shirt fits well and has a good, figure-flattering cut. Too many Solumbra tops have unflattering designs, shapes and cuts. I appreciate Solumbra quality and sunprotection, but does it have to be dowdy?? I just wish it came in more colors. I am a small/medium in typical clothing due to being a D cup - small worked for this top.

Exactly what I was looking for
My skin hates the sun but I am physically active so the sun and I have to work together. I have tried numerous other brands of SPF tops with no success. This top was fantastic! I was able to be out in high temperatures and yet my body felt cooler. I got no heat rash with it. I have a small tummy so the breezy top was a perfect fit. I'm ordering more.

Surprisingly Cool
Just returned from a trip to Israel and wore this top on tours. Temps were in the 90's and I was concerned I would just melt wearing long sleeves but I was surprised! Recently treated for melanoma and basal cell skin cancers I wore Solumbra clothing daily in the sun and heat. Love love love this top. Will be ordering the grey and white now. Wish it came in blue. So comfortable and breathes well. Rinsed it out and it was dry by morning. Highly recommend this top. Thumb loops were helpful to cover most of my hand. I do not like wearing a lot of creme sunscreens on my skin so this is a perfect solution.

How to Measure

Most Solumbra clothing is oversized.
It is designed with generous proportions to give you freedom to move around. There's no need to order larger sizes. Exceptions are noted in product copy.
Inseam:
Measurement from inside crotch seam to bottom of hem.
Unisex Tall Sizing:
Unisex tall shirts are sized for customers over 6'4" and have sleeve length measurements from center back of M 36"; L 381/2"; XL and 2XL 391/2".
Women's Tall Sizing:
Women's tall pants have a 34" inseam.
Women's Petite Sizing:
Petite garments are sized for customers up to 5'3".
Hats:
Measure around your head with measuring tape above your eyebrows and ears.
Gloves:
Measure around hand across the knuckles (exclude thumb). The number of inches determines glove size. If you are right-handed, measure your right hand and vice versa. People with extra long fingers, or who would like a looser fit should consider ordering a size up.
Shade Sleeves:
Sizing for this garment is based on your Solumbra shirt size.
