Get tons of compliments Great for coverage in humid climate
I bought one of these in the summer of 2009 and it still looks beautiful. Back to buy a new one in a new print to add to my beach wardrobe. (I also have a shorter tunic that also still looks great!) The original is in beautiful shape and protects me from long days on the beach with my kids or at the pool despite 10 years of constant summer and vacation use. It is so light and the vents ensure you aren’t hot even in Florida July humidity. I am stopped every time I wear it to the club or hotel pools for compliments. My only complaint is that the high side slits make it challenging to walk in windy beach weather as the fabric flies up. Where we are there is a lot of wind off the ocean.

Such a comfortable but elegant thing for many uses
My husband and I both have LOTS of Solumbra/Sun Precautions - pants, shirts, tops, hats. We have been customers for YEARS. I bought this in white. It is a superb addition to my travel wardrobe. It fits nicely - sleeves can be left "long" to cover backs of hands or flared bottoms can be turned up and look elegant. It is shaped and fitted in the top and falls straight. I worried about this because I was born with hips; I do not have a straight up-and-down body type. It looks great. I just ordered another in black to wear out in the evenings when on vacation in warm climates. I will dress it up with artsy necklaces. It is wonderful fabric and super light weight. The black will look nice with an alpaca wrap if it is cool in the evening. The white is great by the pool or walking anywhere - beach, in town, hanging out, lounging around. COMFY. Oddly, this is one of my best "finds" at Sun Precautions and I don't normally wear this kind of thing. A FIND! :-)

How to Measure

Most Solumbra clothing is oversized.
It is designed with generous proportions to give you freedom to move around. There's no need to order larger sizes. Exceptions are noted in product copy.
Inseam:
Measurement from inside crotch seam to bottom of hem.
Unisex Tall Sizing:
Unisex tall shirts are sized for customers over 6'4" and have sleeve length measurements from center back of M 36"; L 381/2"; XL and 2XL 391/2".
Women's Tall Sizing:
Women's tall pants have a 34" inseam.
Women's Petite Sizing:
Petite garments are sized for customers up to 5'3".
Hats:
Measure around your head with measuring tape above your eyebrows and ears.
Gloves:
Measure around hand across the knuckles (exclude thumb). The number of inches determines glove size. If you are right-handed, measure your right hand and vice versa. People with extra long fingers, or who would like a looser fit should consider ordering a size up.
Shade Sleeves:
Sizing for this garment is based on your Solumbra shirt size.
